1. Mission Statement

Educa Tutoring Inc. is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized academic support that empowers students to achieve their full potential. We strive to foster a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment where learning thrives.

2. Code of Conduct

Respect: Everyone (students, parents, tutors, staff) must treat others with courtesy and professionalism. - Integrity: Students must complete their own work; tutors are facilitators, not substitutes. - Punctuality: Students and tutors must arrive on time. A 10-minute grace period applies.

3. Tutor Hiring & Standards

All tutors must undergo academic screening and background checks. They must follow the official Quebec curriculum. Ongoing professional development and performance reviews are conducted.

4. Student Conduct

Students are expected to arrive prepared, show respect, and avoid disruptive actions. Repeated misconduct may result in suspension or termination of services.

5. Health & Safety

The Centre maintains a safe, clean environment. Emergency exits and first-aid resources are available. Sick students may be asked to stay home until well.

6. Attendance & Cancellation

- Student Absence: 24h notice required.

- Late Cancellation: Less than 24h ® $20 fee.

- No-Shows: Non-refundable.

- Tutor Absence: Substitution or rescheduling at no cost.

7. Payments & Refunds

All fees due in advance, by credit card only. Late payments may suspend services.Refund Policy: Packages non-transferable. Monthly subscriptions must be cancelled before renewal date, otherwise full payment is due and services continue for the period.

8. Hours & Closures

Regular hours:

- Sundays: 10 AM – 3 PM

- Mon–Thu: 4 PM – 8 PM

Extra hours may be added depending on demand & availability.

Closed on statutory holidays. Weather/emergency closures announced by email and website.

9. Privacy

Educa Tutoring Inc. complies with Quebec/Canadian privacy laws. Records are confidential. Info is only shared with written parental consent, unless required by law.

10. Data & Reports

Progress reports stored in Educa’s system, visible in client portal. Data retained max 5 years, then securely deleted.

11. Media Consent

Photos/videos may be used for promotion. Parents must sign consent. Students not identified by full name without permission.

12. Inclusivity

Educa Tutoring Inc. does not discriminate. We are committed to a supportive, inclusive environment.

13. Complaints

Complaints must be sent in writing to info@educatutoring.com

14. Disciplinary Measures

Educa may issue warnings, suspend, or terminate services without refund in the event of repeated misconduct.

15. Amendments

This policy may be updated. Parents, students, and staff will be notified in writing.

By registering students with Educa Tutoring Inc., parents/tutors and students agree to abide by this business policy and this manual.
