1. Acknowledgement of Services
I, the undersigned parent/guardian (or student if 18 years of age or older), acknowledge that Educa Tutoring Inc. (“the Centre”) provides academic tutoring services intended to support student learning. I understand that tutoring is supplementary in nature and does not guarantee specific grades, academic outcomes, or admission to any school, program, or institution.


2. Assumption of Risk
I understand and agree that participation in tutoring sessions, whether in-person or online, involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to: physical risks associated with attending sessions in person (e.g., slips, falls, or minor injuries), risks related to the use of computers, internet connections, or other technology, and emotional or academic stress related to studying and performance. I voluntarily assume all such risks, known and unknown, on behalf of myself and/or my child.

 

3. Waiver and Release of Liability
In consideration of being permitted to participate in tutoring sessions, I, for myself and/or my child, hereby waive, release, and discharge Educa Tutoring Inc., its owners, directors, employees, tutors, contractors, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from participation in tutoring services, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.


4. Medical and Emergency Care
I certify that I/my child am/is physically able to participate in tutoring activities. In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Educa Tutoring Inc. staff to seek appropriate medical assistance at my expense.


5. Property and Personal Belongings
Educa Tutoring Inc. is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to any personal property belonging to students, parents, or guardians on the premises.

 

6. Consent to Communication
I consent to be contacted by Educa Tutoring Inc. via phone, email, or text message regarding scheduling, updates, and services.


7. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec.
