By accessing our website, booking a tutoring session, or enrolling in any Educa Tutoring Inc. program, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you are enrolling on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of that minor and accept these terms on their behalf.
Educa Tutoring Inc. offers in-person, small-group tutoring sessions at our Montreal-area centres, as well as an online parent portal for session booking and progress tracking. Our services are designed for elementary and high school students and are aligned with the Quebec Ministry of Education (MEQ) curriculum.
All accounts and enrollments for students under 18 must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. By enrolling a minor, the parent or guardian:
Payment is due at the time of booking or at the start of the billing period. All prices are in Canadian dollars and subject to applicable taxes. We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure payment provider.
In accordance with Quebec's Consumer Protection Act:
All students, parents, and tutors must maintain a respectful and professional environment. Educa Tutoring Inc. reserves the right to terminate services, without refund, to any client who:
All materials and resources provided by Educa Tutoring Inc. during tutoring sessions or through our website remain the intellectual property of Educa Tutoring Inc. or its licensors. Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any materials without prior written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by the Civil Code of Quebec, Educa Tutoring Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client in the 30 days preceding the claim.
Educa Tutoring Inc. shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, severe weather, power outages, or tutor illness. In such cases, sessions will be rescheduled or credited at no charge.
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unsuccessful, disputes will be submitted to mediation. If mediation fails, disputes will be resolved before the competent courts of the Province of Quebec.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and applicable federal laws of Canada. Any legal proceedings shall take place in Montreal, Quebec.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email at least 30 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
